Apparently Meraki has changed their license agreement -- you're no
longer allowed to flash their hardware with alternative firmware.
While they're great little devices, Meraki's shitting on the
developers that were its initial champions.  I don't expect that
they'll try to enforce that in any significant way, but still -- I'm
going to look elsewhere for hardware.
