I've been having an abnormally busy May/June, and I know that some others from WT have too. So, while there's still no meeting scheduled (let's aim for mid/late July?), an opportunity has just come up that some folks might be interested in. We've been asked to set up a wifi mesh to cover a few key locations during the Pride festival on Church Street, June 27-29. (woohoo!) I have a case of Open-Mesh(.com) routers in the WT office. Anyone interested in setting them up? Since the timeline's short, I figure that we should use the existing firmware... it'll be a great chance for us to learn what these boxes are capable of, and try them out in the field! If you're interested, email me on- or off-list (by, like, Friday morning) and we'll get things going. ALSO: we need help at Dufferin Grove Park... something's weird with the outside node. Anyone want to drop by there with me on Friday afternoon? Gabe -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
