Hi - I thought that you might be interested in forwarding this info to
your groups.

ZAP quebec now has $70,000 in the bank from various governmental
funding and they are awaiting another $10,000.   They announced hiring
their first full-time employee today.  They currently have 60 hotspots
up.

ZAP Sherbrooke is financially supported through various gov and local
(university, chamber of commerce) partnerships and now has 150
hotspots up.

ISF currently in the process of working on a partnership with the city

 Autre bonne nouvelle pour ZAP Québec aujourd'hui!

 Nous venons de recevoir un chèque de 40 000$, qui constitue le premier
 versement du Bureau de la Capitale-nationale sur un total de 50 000$.
 Le reste de la subvention sera versé lorsque notre objectif sera
 atteint, d'ici juin 2009.

 La lettre est signée par M. Philippe Couillard, ministre responsable
 de la région.

 Au total, ça nous fait donc un total de 70 000$ déjà en banque, les
 premiers chèques du FRIJ et du CLD devraient suivre dans les prochains
 jours. C'est parti!!
