1. Social this Thursday

This Thursday (Oct 5th) from around 7pm at the Red Room on Spadina
just south of College, we'll be celebrating our successes and drowning
our sorrows. It's casual, and some of the conversation will _not_ be
about wifi.

---
2. Recent stats

This month we'll sign up our 4000th user -- September was our busiest
month so far, with 700 new users.

Top five hotspots (by number of visits) in September:
1) Yonge-Dundas Square
2) Teriyaki Experience, York Mills
3) St. Lawrence Market
4) Lettieri Cafe at 79 Front E.
5) The Roastery Cafe at 401 Richmond W.

For a map of all our hotspots, visit:

---
3. October meeting

Our October meeting will be on Wednesday the 18th, at 6pm, at the
Centre for Social Innovation, in Suite 120, at 215 Spadina Ave
(between Dundas and Queen).

---
4. Get involved!

Wireless Toronto is a non-profit all-volunteer community group
dedicated to bringing no-fee wireless Internet access to Toronto. Our
aim is to encourage the growth of wireless networking and to build
community in interesting and innovative ways.

We're looking for helpers: to install hotspots, to build web pages, to
design promo material, to pitch new venues, to answer tech support
email, etc., etc. If you're interested, come to our social and/or
meeting, sign up on the "discuss" list
( http://wirelesstoronto.ca/lists ), or send us an email...!
